When working in my studio, my goal is to create something that is both beautiful and functional. I work on one piece at a time with the aim to make a piece of art that will last for generations. My art is designed to be used. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that my rocking chairs or bowls will be passed down to future generations to be used and enjoyed.
As my creations age, they will begin to show the effects of time. I don’t see the marks and dings collected through the years as damage, but as a collection of stories and memories associated with all that hands that have touched it.
