Ordering:
As each chair I make is made to order, it can take anywhere between two to four weeks to be completed. This time may increase depending on the number of chairs currently in production. Delays may also occur if the requested wood is unavailable from my usual sources.
Pricing:
As wood prices fluctuate, please call for current prices. Currently a medium sized rocking chair is $4500 plus wood cost.
Accented and figured woods will be approximately $300 – $500 more than more easily obtainable woods such as maple and cherry. The additional cost will depend upon availability and market conditions.
Shipping and Insurance:
This will be dependent upon actual costs. Each chair will be crated and insured for it’s full value prior to shipping. If it appears that the chair has been damaged during shipping, please document any damage to the crate with pictures, preferably with the delivery agent on hand, prior to opening the shipping container. If the chair is also damaged, please photograph the damage as this documentation will be necessary to file a claim with the shipper.
Terms:
50% at time of order with the balance to be paid prior to delivery.
